So i was looking up some stuff and came across your pic of your sis with the big mug and it brought me here to your blog.Anyways i read some stuff you wrote and the candy bar story. i am LDS and have to agree to an extent that yes we all make mistakes and repentance is there for all of us so we can be that person we want to be or the person "people want". Jesus died for all of our sins, those we have made and those we will make but i feel you are alot like me in the way that sometimes i bash the mormon religion when in reality its some of the members, not the religion at all. Anyways not everyone has seen both sides like i have or what seems like you have but instead of being frustrated with the church shouldnt we help these members better understand what we know? Also i too have had sisters, friends and other family get married in the temple and not been able to attend because of personal decisions i have made but I thought long and hard and realized nothing worth while comes easy. Temple marriage is very sacred and rewarding and alot of work and discipline to get there but if anyone was allowed in than it would take away.don't you think. Anyways i know i dont know you and I am not one to judge,i have made many mistakes and trying to clean up my act but i just hope you will give some thought to what i have said,i was once in the same position as you but realized it was easier to blame the church for everything so i wouldnt feel guilty for how i was living instead of repent and live by it.I hope this helps and hope to hear back from you. Also dont dislike or be angry with your family for living happily in the church, maybe you are just jealous you dont have that YET.you will soon enough.
